Free Fonts– take control of your words!

I cannot stress enough how important a good set of fonts is to a designer. We collect them and then spend half of the time deciding which font can carry the meaning of our work the best. The right font can make or break your images– just think of how often a movie font or band logo becomes an iconic symbol.

As an example, check out TypeNow.net ‘s Themed Fonts page. It is a collection of famous fonts from the worlds of movies, music, and products. Then tell me that fonts don’t matter.

After you get the fever for the flava’ that free fonts can bring your work, check out DaFont.com and Fonts500 for the web’s best fonts!
