Digg, StumbleUpon, Yahoo Buzz, Delicious, and ShareThis

When you create a blog post that you want the world to see, social bookmarking sites are the way to attract new eyeballs to your work. Digg, StumbleUpon, Yahoo Buzz, Del.icio.us, Facebook, MySpace, and Fark are just some of the best.

The best way to allow your readers to vote up your work (and make it more popular) is to get the “ShareThis” button and embed it on your blog. To be sure to get tens (or hundreds, thousands) of hits per day, follow these simple rules:
1)create content people will want to see
2)vote up your own posts on several sites
3) read and respond to other bloggers and sign your posts with your blog’s address.
