Scribd: Post a PDF and keep its beauty intact
Posting a paper you’ve written to the internet is sometimes an ugly affair. Usually, you have to copy and paste your work into a blog window, and you lose all the formatting, fonts, images, and other prettiness that you’ve worked so hard to create. You can output to PDF (which makes a perfect image of your work) but then how do you put it on your blog?
Scribd.com to the rescue. Think of it as YouTube for printed documents. You can post a Word doc, PDF, or Text file to Scribd and they’ll turn it into a YouTube‐style player that you can embed in your blog. When you do it, it will look like this!
(Extra credit on your Technical score for your project if you post this way and discuss the process in your next artist statement.)
